چکیده

Supply-Demand mismatch is a continuous challenge among suppliers creating poor customer service levels and often leading to higher costs the entire supply chain, meet demands of customer. This paper will highlight demand-supply issues between steel supplier having with one its premier automobile customers due difficulties in forecasting appropriate demand from The outcome original research was developing framework for an integrated planning process that overlooks management customer, addition emphasizing application profiling enabled build novel future state inventory model. In context work published here, enabler inhibitor analysis conducted, studies structure processes within firms, identify any business implications may affect mismatch.

Solving a Multi-Item Supply Chain Network Problem by Three Meta-heuristic Algorithms

The supply chain network design not only assists organizations production process (e.g.,plan, control and execute a product’s flow) but also ensure what is the growing need for companies in a longterm. This paper develops a three-echelon supply chain network problem including multiple plants, multiple distributors, and multiple retailers with amulti-mode demand satisfaction policy inside of pro...

A New Hybrid Prediction Reduces the Bullwhip Effect of Demand in a Three-level Supply Chain

In this paper, we present a new predictive hybrid model using discrete wavelet transform (DWT), and the artificial neural network (ANN) to reduce the bullwhip effect of demand in supply chain to obtain a real amount of final customer demand. Also, we compare our result with more comprehensive sample of previous research to extend the scope of our study. In this new research our methodology is c...

Determination of a Desirable Inventory Policy in a three Echelon Multilayer Supply Chain with Normal Demand

Inventory control is one of the most important issues in supply chain management. In this paper, a three-echelon production, distribution, inventory system composed of one producer, a set of wholesalers and retailers is considered. Costumers' demands can be approximated by a normal distribution and the inventory policy is a kind of continuous review (R, Q). In this paper, a model based on stand...

A two-level discount model for coordinating a decentralized supply chain considering stochastic price-sensitive demand

In this paper, a discount model is proposed to coordinate pricing and ordering decisions in a two-echelon supply chain (SC). Demand is stochastic and price sensitive while lead times are fixed. Decentralized decision making where downstream decides on selling price and order size is investigated. Then, joint pricing and ordering decisions are extracted where both members act as a single entity ...

Solving a Supply Chain Optimization Problem Collaboratively

We propose a novel algorithmic framework to solve an integrated planning and scheduling problem in supply chain management. This problem involves the integration of an inventory management problem and the vehicle routing problem with time windows, both of which are known to be NP-hard. Under this framework, algorithms that solve the underlying sub-problems collaborate rigorously yet in a comput...
